Air or sea: choose around the cargo

Air and sea quotations depend on packing dimensions, actual weight, volume, cargo nature and urgency. Provide both weight and CBM where available. Timing is confirmed for the specific route; this site does not publish guaranteed transit times.

What does door-to-door include?

Ask for a written breakdown covering pickup, origin handling, freight, clearance, duties and taxes where applicable, destination handling and delivery. Confirm exclusions such as storage, inspections, unloading or difficult-access delivery.

Confirm DDP responsibilities before booking

Do not assume “all inclusive” from a service name. Confirm the importer of record, documentary responsibilities, legally compliant clearance arrangements and exactly which taxes and fees the quote includes. DDP terms must be explicitly agreed in the contract.

Special cargo needs an early review

Declare batteries, liquids, magnets, powders, branded goods and other sensitive cargo before shipment. Supply technical documents or an MSDS when requested. Acceptance depends on the cargo and carrier requirements.

Prepare a shipment quotation

Send product description, quantity, commercial value and currency, supplier location, packed weight, carton dimensions or CBM, preferred mode and Indian delivery city/PIN code.
